La formación obligatoria consta de una parte común a ambas modalidades del CAP (Mercancías y Viajeros) y una parte específica según se realice la modalidad del CAP de Viajeros o del CAP de Mercancías
El Examen Oficial del CAP está formado por 100 preguntas (25 si queremos ampliar la actividad de mercancías a viajeros y viceversa). Debemos obtener 50 puntos como mínimo, teniendo en cuenta que cada acierto suma 1 punto, cada fallo penaliza -0'5 puntos y las no contestadas no puntúan.

Objetivo 1: Conducción racional
La conducción racional pretende reducir el gasto de combustible de los vehículos hasta en un 30 % y las emisiones de gases contaminantes al medio ambiente. Todas las preguntas de estos tests hacen referencia a temas relacionados con reducir el consumo de nuestro vehículo y circular de manera segura y eficiente evitando la contaminación medioambiental.
